A news titled, "Farmers will learn about benefits of Organic Farming" in The Times of India talks about Mati Mahotsav in which farmers from villages of Koraon, Meja, Manda, Nawabganj, Kodiharand, Shankargarh will be attending the event on November 4. At the festival, farmers would be collecting soil samples from not only their own fields after the Kharif season harvest but would also bring samples from other farmers as well. These soil samples will be collected through a scientific technique and would be taken to the experts at IFFCO. The event is organised by Pragati Gram Fresh Producers Limited, a company formed by farmers to sell organic products online in Allahabad, with the help of self-help groups.
